Finishing up Polar and Groundhogs!

Polar bear font sort

Beginning blends. My student teacher facilitated this center , this was kind of our first introduction to blends.

See below, the pictures are out of order. The mother polar bear with the baby behind her are the cards I used for this center.

I think I got this from "What the Teacher Wants" website. I did not make this.

Kids figured out the beginning sound then wrote the whole word.

Matching polar animals with the  colored igloo, write the color word next to the igloo and color it.

Dice roll and write (groundhog)

Goes with the above "I Want to go Home".

Groundhog font sort.

Idea from Mailbox Magazine. We do it every year.

Seasonal art goes with "Sylvester and the Magic Pebble".

Colored grounhogs center.

What's missing . Supply the missing number then write the numbers.

Ending sound work!
