I've decided not to update this blog anymore but I will leave it out in blog universe as a resource for anyone who happens upon it and would like to use it for a resource. There are so many excellent blogs out there! I was not diligent about updating my blog this school year so I've decided to shut this blog down and start a blog for my classroom parents (parental access only) . As always if you have something you would like a copy of please email me and I will do my best to email you the requested item. Have a good school year everyone! Jen Huff email@example.com

Quick art/writing activity with "The Snowy Day"
Center Work. Kids roll a number die, draw the correct number of stripes.
Same with "Snowballs and Sleds"
I made letter dice, had the kids roll the dice and write the letter in the ice blocks.
Kids roll a dot dice, search for the number and cross off.
Cute sentence ordering activity that goes with the story "Seasons of a Red Fox"
Day 100 headbands!
The kids LOVED this. I read the story "The Wolf's Chicken Stew" and planned some "chicky" activities. They had to write popcorn words to fill up the boxes.

SO sorry I have not updated in a while. Like a long while. We just moved into a new house, the holidays, my own children's activities...not to mention this other thing going on called a "full time teaching job". Anywhoo I have received a lot of emails about my Hibernation Activities. I have been neglectful with returning emails, too. I uploaded some Hibernation activities and threw in a couple of Winter/Penguin/Polar Bear games as well. It is all posted on TPT and it is FREE. Click HERE to go to my online store. Hope this is useful and y'all will forgive me for not returning emails.
